want to become mecp certified. i don't have my basic but have heard that advanced isn't much different. i have been doing car audio stuff (head unit, amps, components) for about a year and a half. i took an electronics course in high school so not totally ignorant. the only place that hires for car audio is best buy and that far away so i haven't been employed. would it be possible to take the advanced portion?

You have to do the test/courses inorder.

You need to go to their website and read over everything and if you still want to do it then start from the begining and order the first book and start taking the test after that.

It isn't that the test are hard but they are on the wording that MECP uses. You could have a questions that really have two right answers and if you are not familiar with how MECP has it worded in the test books you could get those answers wrong.
