Dont know what happen but there are 3 subs   1)1ohm  1)8ohm and 1)8ohm witch makes .8 I need to know how a 1600w@1ohm amp would spilt this power

The 1 ohm sub would get 8 times the power that an 8 ohm sub would get.  Is that what you want?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Each 8 ohm sub would get about 94 watts and the 1 ohm sub would get about 1412 watts.

In an ideal situation if the amp puts out 1600x1 at 1 ohm it will put out slightly more power at .8 ohms.  You are dropping the impedence by 20% so in an ideal system your output would rise by 20% so there would be another 320 watts to be divided up.

Thanks for the great responses.Okay I would like help deciding what I should use in my equipment.I thought I had a dual 2ohm fi btl.But quikly realized it was dual 1ohm ,it would run daily no prob down low but at  3/4 volume amp would go into protect. And I had it running .5ohm.when I hooked it up 2ohms 1100w rms it dont shut off now no matter how hard I run the amp.I want to get the full 1600w rms. I have a fi btl 18 dual 1ohm that can handle my whole amp.2 dual 4ohm cheap pyle 18'' subs that can handle 500-600w rms and 4 dual 2ohms pioneer 12's that can handle 400-500w rms. So what would be the best combo of subs to get the most power out of my amp safely, for subs and amp.Im pretty sure my amp can handle .8ohm. I was running 4 dual 2 ohm 12's perfect.but I'm trying to run the btl and atleast 1 if not 2 of the pyle 18's also.thanks richard

So I am running 4 12's and 1 18 off of my 1600w @1ohm amp. this combination gives me a 0.66667ohm. How much power is my amp trying to put out ?And how is this power split, the (4) 12's show 4ohms each.and the (1) 18 shows 2ohms.thanks.posted_imageposted_imageposted_imagehttps://www..com/watch?v=K9RkR-MaUPs
