Hey guys, I have a second Gen (2003-2006??) Ford Expedition. I am currently running 2 batteries and was wondering where you guys put the second battery or where a good place is to put it. Currently I have a tray made out of MDF board and the battery sits in there and it's mounted to my box. now the box slides everywhere and rips wires out, :errr:.
So can anyone give me any ideas of where to put this battery?
Thanks
Only thing that initially comes to mind is under the rear rollpan. You could essentially mount the second battery wherever you could fit it out of the way.
You could always keep it incorporated onto your box, but mount the enclosure down to keep it from sliding.
Maybe a few pics would help spark some ideas. Maybe someone else who has a expo can help more than me.
Cheers

RTFM
I agree post some pics. But a good spot could be by the rear tire wheel wheel. That's a good place to ground it and lower your resistance. Also I would like to add if you have your stock alternator its not going to charge two batteries so look into a high output one. Also when adding battiers and wiring them in parraell I belive one will mess up the other . They must be the same size, charge, age and so forth they have to be completly the same. The reason being is one discharge the other .
