Have a 1990 gmc z71 since last week after using the remote start to start truck everything works fine...as soon i push on the brake pedal dash lights and tail lights go off... the same happends if i used the on/off switch on the dash for command start...
is this sign of a bad box.... can i just unplug the command start for testing ?

the problem is even if you turn your lights on after using your remote to start the truck... after stepping on the brakes... the dash panels and rear lights go off they wont come on... pretty much dark when you go to work and is dark when you head home... and cops dont like you driving with no taillights... or you can't see how fast you are going...
just trying to figure how to bypass the the auto start box to test if is the box or something else..i can see where they have 2 plugins on the 2400/2500 one in the middle of the box and one on the corner but dont really know what to do to disable the auto start.
