Hi guys.  First time poster here.

My dad has a '39 Chevy Street Rod with a brake light/turn signal problem.

Here's the scenario:

When the brakes are applied, both brake light come on.

When the left and right turn signals are applied, the turn signals in the rear work correctly.

If the right turn signal is applied while the brakes are applied, the right rear turn signal blinks while the left brake light is on.

Here's where it gets complicated.

If the left turn signal is applied while the brakes are applied, the left rear brake light comes on (not blinking) and nothing comes on on the right side.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Check the light unit's grounding if that's OK you're looking at the front end.

Thanks Howie II.

I'll have him check that.
