I am using a Metra radio install kit (99-3412) to install an aftermarket cd-player. However I am having trouble with the instructions for removing dash panel.

Step One states that I should remove the ashtray and the (2) Phillips screws exposed. Then remove the ashtray bracket. However when I take out the ashtray, I can't find those pesky phillips screws that are supposed to be exposed.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

the two screws should be facing up under the ashtray bracket
