How can I wire 4x 8 ohm svc subs to get either a 2 ohm or 1 ohm load? I am thinking of switching my 2 mtx thunder 2160's for a mono amp.

Wire all 4 speakers in parallel to get a 2 ohm load. Connect all the positives together and then all the negatives together so you only have 2 wires going to the amp.

Thanx Velocity Motors for your info!!!!!! Does anyone know of someone who wants to trade 2 MTX Thunder 2160's in great shape for a mono amp which will produce 1,000 watts or more into 2 ohms? Or a partial trade + cash? Let me know.  Thanx again.posted_imageposted_image
