I've been having a problem with radio interference from my cellphone. This only happens when the phone is plugged in to the charger and when my radio is set to an AM station. I understand that they probably both are near the same frequency or something, but my question is, is there any kind of filter or something I can do to prevent this from happening? i commute far to work so I need to hear the traffic report and news. But, I need to keep my phone on charge. i sometimes disconnect it so I can hear the radio. But sometimes I forget to reconnect it and then I have a dead cellphone battery. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time

Do you know if the cigarette lighter and the radio are on the same circuit? If so you could try installing a seperate lighter directly from the battery. It could also be the charging unit giving off RF due to stepping down the voltage. Go to the cellular store and see if they will let you try another charger in the parking lot. If they won't you could probably go to RadioShack, they are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Good luck!
