Got a question about wat gauge size is appropiate ok would it be ok if wire from alternator to isolator is 0 gauge and from isolator to main(starting) battery 4 gauge and isolator to aux battery (prob mounted in the bed) be 2 gauge?

Depends on the current.
& Depends on the allowable voltage drop.

Why change gauges?

Why not have the isolator between the 2 batteries (instead of alt & battery #2)?
