I have a small RV and I would like to use a spare DEI508 proximity sensor as a stand alone (no alarm system brain) motion sensor that will beep when someone gets too close while Im asleep.

how would I use the trigger to make a beep of some sort and what would be a good source for the beep sound?

also for anyone that is intimately familiar with this sensor, what is the "factory adjust only" for exactly?

thanks

If I'm not mistaken that device outputs a short pulse when it is "violated".  You could connect that output to a Off Delay Timer Relay and set that timer to 3-10 seconds.  You could then pick any kind of buzzer/siren/light and use that as a trigger.
