New to the 12 volt world I am wondering what a installer should get paid on a install of a Pasport 9500ci in a 2011 corvette zr1
its a time consuming job, especially being that kind of car but also depends on what kind of installer you get. a cautious, meticulous installer i could see taking 5-6 hours and charging about 500. An installer thats looking to rush more through the job with an "f-it its not my car" attitude would probably take more like 3-4 hours and charge about 300. On that type of job, considering how much money is being invested, and how expensive the car is, i would make sure you drill the installer and make sure hes up to the challenge, has experience having done one before, and knows what hes talking about. If not installed properly, theyre worthless(the laser shifters MUST be mounted level with the ground within 5 degrees).
Just for the record I charge a starting price of 800 bucks on that car and then it can go up depending on what he/she wants for mounting done in the vehicle for the display

double-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer
And even more here because the damn things are supposedly illegal!
But then the last Corvette i worked on was 1973 and it was an 8-track

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
