Tymphany split apart.  ScanSpeak was re-bought by the Danes, and spun off as a separate entity using a combination of the Chinese and the Danish manufacturing facilities.  So Scan is still alive and well, but no longer has the deep pockets of high-rolling ownership.  The remainder of Tymphany (Vifa, Peerless, and Logic) was bought and merged with Premium Loudspeaker Company (big Chinese cabinet factory) and was then re-sold and is now owned by a large Hong Kong investment consortium that also owns many non-audio companies.  They closed down all their US engineering and sales offices, refocused the company away from their traditional base of mid to high-end OEM sales and are now trying to compete at the low-end of the market.  If you see clearance sales on Peerless or Vifa drivers snap them up as who knows what the new models might turn out to be.

Wasn't Peerless either a high end US or British company once upon a time.
Let's face it, if a loudspeaker isn't North American, British, German or Scandinavian, who cares?

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
