A question for the masses, I currently own a 1993 240SX and i'm about to install six guages to monitor various engine components/performance. my question is can I use the cars main 12V source with a fusible link and connect the power wire for all these on one circuit or do I need to wire the power sources differently to an ignition wire or fuse box. they are all autometer cobalt series full sweep guages.

They should be IGN +12V powered (else you'll flatten the battery). That could be thru a relay which is energised by IGN +12V that switches the battery +12V thru a fuse.

I'd reckon just a fuse would do - not a flink (fusible link) as gauges normally don't take many Amps, but the instructions etc should cover that.
