I'm going to be installing a alarm system in my 300zx, adding remote door locks, raise the windows on arm & power rear hatch release. I'd like to keep the factory system intact as well, let it handle the starter disable etc. Is there an EZ way to disable the factory alarm when I hit the door unlock or hatch release button on the remote? Same idea, when the hatch is closed, automaticaly re-arm?

Thanks!

Lee

Hey lrciii ,

In order to arm the factory alarm you have to send a negative pulse on the blue/red wire in the driver's kick or Anti-theft module which is located under carpet on passenger floor board.  To disarm send a negative pulse on the gray/red wire in the driver's kick or Anti-theft module.   posted_image
