I want to replace the factory steering wheel with airbag in a 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport with a custom wood steering wheel without airbag

Howie is correct but hey, it's your vehicle right? So just do it...and if it is your vehicle you can pull the bulb out so your air bag warning light isn't on all the time. If the vehicle is not yours and you are planning to do this for someone else, then you may want to make sure my suggestions are ok with that person.

Thx for the quick responses, this little project was just a thought, just gets boring looking at the stock steering wheel when the rest of my van is looking cool. But anyway i think i might be able to find a wheel that supports the airbag issue also the yearly tests and insurance ways a little heavier than the wheel without airbags
