I have a Warn XD9000 winch on my 4WD
am currently using 65sqmm welders cable to the battery. The cable is fine but its pretty inflexible and I need to try and get some space back so as to mount other relays etc near the battery - the current cable is just too obtrusive and inflexible
is there any downside to running multiple runs (3 lines) of O gauge audio cable to the battery instead of 1 x 65sqmm welders cable?
or am I inviting resistance issues etc...?

Warn list 2 ga wire requirements for it so any wire 2 ga or larger will be more than enuff. The resistence on amp wire will be equal to or lower than what you are using. As fine strand oxygen free wire will have lower resistence the large strand wire. Usually 0 ga is just way beyond overkill for a winch. It you want to error on the side of caution 1 ga would cover it with room to spare.
