You should never install a remote car starter in a manual transmission car.  There's too much of a chance of starting it while it is in gear.

you have to install a relay at the clutch to let the car think you are pushing in on the clutch when trying to engage the remote start. BUT I will tell you I have had nothing but problems when doing a remote start in cars with manual transmissions, One customer took his car to the dealership for a simple oil change, one of the wrench jockeys decide to start pushing buttons on the remote and guess what? The car ended up jerking it's way into the service mgrs office via the hole it created in the wall, another customer had a switch installed so that he could turn on and off the ability to remote start his truck to prevent someone else accidently remote starting his truck, one night while at his girlfriends house they were wrestling around on the couch and he himself accidently pushed the button to remote strart his truck (remote was in his pocket and some loose change pressed the button) and the front end of his nissan truck became the new rear end of a dodge neon. So just think about this before you decide to do a remote start on a manual transmission.
