hybrid battery reset

2015 Camry Hybrid SE.
I pulled the head unit out to look at wiring, I didnt unplug the headunit/navigation wiring, then put everything back together. Only the EV, Eco, Shift indicator harness, center glove box harnesses and what I believe is the headlight photo sensor harness was unplugged. nothing else out of the ordinary, though when I get in to move the car I get a notification that the hood is opened. I believe the system has gotten confused and would like to reset it. I've tried the battery in the trunk (passenger side) removing positive terminal for 10 minutes. any other suggestions or a more proper way to reset this? thank you
