I have a 2009 Ford E350 Van I am installing a second battery in a ford frame mounted case, I purchased a solenoid battery isolator and the instruction say one post should go to a "True Ignition source" meaning power through cranking cycle the only circuit that comes to mind readily and is easy to access would be the fuel pump circuit. would it be safe/advisable to tap into this circuit at the fuse box? any other suggestions? I'd rather not be messing in the steering column at the ignition switch, but if that is the only advisable place I guess I would have to. If the fuel pump circuit I am thinking I can tap in at the megafuse underhood. My first post here Thank you all for any help or information in advance.
