I'm putting a 24 valve Cummins engine into an old Ford truck. The engine is computer controlled fuel injected and obviously the truck isn't lol...

Now I have the knowledge and relevant information to interface the engine to the truck... the computer part and everything is all figured out... but I don't know exactly how to tie it all together and have it look professional and safe...

So first question is what is the best way to deal with the existing fusable links? They were connected to the starter solenoid that will no longer be used. Are fusable links still useful? Would I want to use something else like fuses or breakers?

I'm going to have a half dozen relays running the engine and headlights and foglamps. I have a relay box with fuses... what would be the best way to get power to the relay box? A single distribution post with a large fuse? Or maybe a distribution box?

Any thoughts, ideas or products are much appreciated :)
