I have a 2014 Honda Crosstour, V6, and the wipers are malfunctioning. When starting car they turn on for about 30 secs. Then stop in random places. Replaced motor, relay and multifunction switch, I.E. wiper selector switch on column. Did self diagnotic, no issues. Connetcted to code reader, no trouble codes. Anyone have similar issues?

Looking at the diagram in the link above, it looks like the driver's MICU could be at fault.

Looking at the chilton manual, I m going to practice my contorsioning to get at it. So that is a unit to itself? So servicable parts inside I assume.

Yeah, I don't think it's serviceable. I also don't know if you can just swap that unit with one from the junkyard or if it has to be programmed.

I have a buddy that works for Mazda. I will ask him if he knows. Thanks for the help.

I came across this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezuF65XHk5U

This guy opened up the bad MICU, desoldered the EEPROM (8-pin, surface mount), and soldered it in the junkyard one.

Alternatively, he says you can pull a .bin file from the original unit and flash it to the replacement if you have the right hardware/program. However, he doesn't mention what program.
