Hi Forum,

Been looking at a few sites to understand wire gauge better for a 4x4 wire loom project. there are a few variations. Most of the 4x4 is rated to 15A @ ~12v. from what i can see 14 gauge suits best...?

to confirm... the Fuse should be rated lower than the wire so in the case of a short the fuse breaks. Also, the fuse should be placed as close to 'supply(+)as possible?
