Hello All,

I have a mass air flow sensor that has an extension spliced Into the harness. The extension is a thicker wire than the harness. Will this create a different voltage going to my ECU than the stock harness?

Thank you

Assuming properly made connections, shouldn't be an issue. Engine in question is a ?

I agree with Ween. There should be no issue. A larger gauge wire across the extension minimizes further voltage drop (less resistance than the OEM wire). Unless the extension were several meters long or something like that, I wouldn't worry about it.
