PLAN: 120VAC > Transformer > 16ishVAC > *in electroboom voice* FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER (150 amp) > 14ish V pulse DC > 3 Farad car audio cap > Battery bank.
QUESTION: capacitor choice/placement? because i'd be getting the top half of the wave at 120hz on the other side of the FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER. i need a filter before i can charge a battery or hook up any equipment. so am i good to go or does anyone have any objections or better ideas...... ??
