Hi have an issue and need a little help. I have an 01 freightliner with a simple 4 wire ignition switch. Constant 12 volt, acc, starter (push button) and ign have 12 volt proper key positions but vehicle still runs when key is shut off. Metering ignition while key is on 14 volts is present. Shut key off and it drops to 12. It should drop to 0 of course. I suspect ecm issue or something related because when I pull ecm fuse it shuts off. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Could a diode fix this temporarily?
