Hi currently have a Kenwood Excelon amp x801.5 50x4 rms at 4 ohms and 300x1 4 ohms (could do 500x1 at 2ohms if I decide on 2sub instead of one). I also have airlift 3P with dual 444c compressor. My plan was to run 4awg wire (10 feet) from batt to a blue sea 4 panel fuse block. The 4awg wire will continue to the amp. Then 10awg wire to each compressor from that fuse block which is about another 10feet. Does this sound about right. It’s kind of difficult with wire gauge calculators because it’s determining a single wire. Like i calculate 3% loss for 120amp load for the fuse block is 4awg. I calculate 3% loss for 25amp comes to 10awg. Wouldn’t that equal a 5-6% voltage drop to the compressors? I don’t think I’m understanding the voltage drop right.
