I am considering purchasing a ppi phase shifter to obtain my desired soundstage in lieu of trying to construct custom fiberglass kickpanels. I have a 1992 Subaru Legacy manual transmission, and the footwell is extremely cramped, especially the driver side. Will I be able to obtain the type of staging I desire with the phase shifter... i have read a few reviews, and they have all been good, but I was wondering if they really do what they claim? Your opinions are greatly appreciated!

you can alter phase with a simple L-pad circuit,
crossover circuitry, equalizers, speaker angle, etc all can and do affect your speaker phase.
you want to try adjusting this to keep everything in phase properly of course.
