Hello,

I have a 98 454 Vortec that I want to put into my 94 Suburban.  The Suburban has a 4L80E transmission with dual AC.  Has anyone converted the wire harness from a Vortec engine (96 and newer) and put it in a 94 (or older) Chevy truck or Suburban?  If so, do you have the diagrams for the wire harness?  Any ideas or help on this would be appreciated.

Ricardo

Ricardo- give me a bit of time to check this out. What you want is possible, I just don't know off the top of my head what you need. The dual A/C shouldn't be a problem- it all runs from the same compressor, and the 4L80E should be the same across the board. If you need some immediate help, you can try Street & Performance (link).

Hello,

Were you able to dig up anything on the harness?  Thanks

Ricardo

I am told that  https://www.painlesswiring.com can manufacture custom harnesses to fit just such cases as yours.  You may want to check them out.
