I purchased an Eclipse cd player from a police auction (legit) and of course it was locked.  I took a chance on being able to get it unlocked.  I talked to one of the V.P.'s from Eclipse and explained the situation to him.  I even faxed him the police receipt with the model and serial #'s on it.  He would not help me because the unit was never reported stolen to Eclipse.  He wanted me to sell it to the local dealer to get my money back.  The money wasn't the issue.  The unit was only a couple of months old when I bought it and it has sat in a box in my attic since.  If anyone can help get this unit unlocked, please email me.  I was an MECP certified installer for years and still dabble in it a little.  I will try to help on this board any way I can.

try to hold down the am/fm button and the number 6 button for about 20 or 30 seconds. eclipse told me to do it and it worked. if it dosent work you can send it to eclipse and they will reset it for $45.00
