I am about to get the windows in my new car tinted. I usually use Lumar tint, but the guys that are going to do it for me are using some other brand I have not heard of. It has a nation wide life time warranty, but again it is an unknown brand to me. Are there any brands out there that you guys know to stay away from.

most brands are not a whole lot different, johnson, llumar, 3M, suntek, solargard... the list goes on. The ability of the tinter is more important then the film he is using.

I agree it is in the ability of the tinter to give you a "perfect tint". Stick with the top end films and Sungard has the diamond dealer warranty which gives you a warranty against any defects even if it's and accidental scratch or mishape on your part.
