A friend of mine went and had a new battery put into her car.  She went to pick the car up and there is no power to the radio now.  The mechanic tested it and said that there is power at the fuse box.  He doesn't know what he did and doesn't seem to have an answer.  Can anyone help?  It is the factory radio.

even though the mechanic tested it look in the cars manual for the fuse box... check every fuse that is associated with the radio inside and outside under the hood....

All the fuses have been checked associated with the radio.  Nothing else is wrong, everything else is working fine.

What kind of stereo is it ? If it's an aftermarket one, make sure you get the mechanic to look behind the deck and there will be a fuse inline of the power wire or inside the back of the deck behind the harness that plugs into the casing.

It is just the factory radio.

That is a good idea, take it to a Stereo Shop and send the bill to the mechanic.
