I am trying to install my Pioneer deh-1311 tape deck into my 1993 subaru loyale.  I downloaded the subaru's wiring from this site (thanks).  I can't seem to find the wiring for the deck itself.  I found a generic pioneer wiring diagram but does not seem to work.  The deck was pulled from another car (wires cut).  The subaru has no clip, seems the wires were cut also.   This is what I have been trying.

Deck > Car

orange>GREEN/ red

red>blue / YELLOW

black>black

This is where I am stuck and I can't seem to get any power or lights or time etc..   My source says there should be a yellow from the deck (but there is not) that should go to illumination (red on the car).  There is also a lone green wire that is not mentioned in your wiring diagram from the subaru.  I also have a blue wire from the deck which the diagram says is power antenna. I assume I will use this for the amp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have the wiring codes for the car, e-mail pioneer for the wiring color codes for that model, or call their tech support 800 #

Thanks for the information. I called Pioneer and got the wiring diagram faxed to me. Nice and easy.  Now I have to give it a shot.
