The temp in my car climbs about 20 degree's after shut down and I 'd like to set up a delay or timer to keep the electric fan running for about 2-3 minutes. I know this helps as I do this by turning it back on to run after shut down. This is not a factory deal, fan is controlled by an in the rad probe, switched by relay and obviously controlled by  run 12v .

Thanks a heap

Bill

probably the easiest would be to use a big-asses car-audio capacitor (perhaps a 2 ferad), just make sure you use a diode to keep it from discharging into any other system but ur fan.

Not sure if this'll accually work, just i theory that popped into my head as i'm sitting here deprived of sleep posted_image

i think it could easily be done with a transistor, capacitor, and some resistors... maybe if i get some time ill draw something up
