hey I was wondering does anyone else have this problem with G.M's . Does your service light come on for your abs and traction control . It comes on and stays on for a while then I'll shut the car of and it goes away and doesn't come on for awhile, I've also noticed the car doesn't have to be in motion for the lights to come on.I took it to a mechanic and we changed a speed sensor but the stupid light keeps coming back.We did reset the computer and still comes back . the mechanic know wants to go after the wiring harness, the big question is has anyone else experienced this problem. thanks for info.

To your knowledge, has anything been added to this vehicle ? Remote starter, alarm system ,....

Do you still have warranty for this vehicle ? I would try to get warranty if you still have any left on it.

I seen this a few years back wit ha Cavalier.  Car dealer tryed to say it was the remote start I installed that caused this.  I disconected the remote start and it still did it.

Customer took it back and ther was a broken or fraded wire some where near the front inner fender well on the drivers side.

Could be the same thing

ya thats why the mechanic wants to change the wireing harness . apparently G.M has had a few at least in this area [8] cars cavs and sunfires had to be rewired due to faulty or chaudy work, and no warranty left 67000 of course it wouldn't  have happend before . Thanks at least I can tell the mechanic is looking in the right direction, but I'll keep this question open for know.
