Has anyone changed out the facory radio out of a new Ford with the Blaupunkt in it? I heard that it takes a VW plug and some wires have to be changed to make this work is that true? Thanks for your help.

Yes it`s a 2003 Focus ZX3 I did get the VW plug and it matches up to the one in the car, now I need to know if I need to change the wires around. Thanks again.
