Im trying 2 put i big face tach in my 03 cavilier...i was told its the same tach wire as the one for the alarm but when i hooked it up it didnt work can anyone help me out???

its supposed 2 be PURPLE / white wire beside battery, under radiator hose, in engine harness...

its a white wire 2.2 engine at distributor pass side of enging

2.4 in larg loom passing under battery

2.4 L connector right on top of eggine
