Does anyone know how to program a command start remote.  I bought the car with it already installed adn there are no manuals for it.  The model number on the module is "1600/1700/1800".

To program a new remote,

  • flash ( press ) the hood pin switch down and release, the parking lights will flash
  • then immediately after, tap it quickly ( the pin switch ) then the parking lights will stay on
  • make sure the lights stay on for at least 5 or 6 seconds
  • then hold button one until the lights go out then close the hood
  • the remote is now programmed
