How do I install a stereo in a 2002 Ford explorer

You will need an installation kit from Metra ( # 99-5600 ) and a wiring harness ( # 70-5700 ). There aer 2 holes on either side of the factory stereo and you will need a set of Ford keys to remove the deck or cut a clothes hanger into 4 straight sections and push them into the holes and pull them outwards and the deck should release. Everything else is self explainatory with the install kit and the wiring harness.
