Ok, I just aquired an Oldsmobile Trofeo auto dim rear view mirror. It has three wires, black (ground obvioulsy) pink w/black stripe and green w/black stripe. Can someone identify for me which wire is primmary power and which is aux? I might even be wrong with that statement, but I sure could use the help. Thanks! Jim

If I remember this right- the pk/bk is ignition, the gn/bk is reverse lamps input.

and black dont have to be ground..factory stuff can throw curve balls to you.

True enough, Lurkin. Ground code on my Peugeot is gn/ye!!
Usually though, on GM products it's bk or bk/wh. OTOH, there is a tan ecm ground on the earlier TPI systems... posted_image
