  Hi,

What is the best way in general,  to locate alarm wires in any car ( locks, unlock, triggers and parking lights)?. Do they have an standard size?

 Thanks for all your help.

Well, the easiest way to find alarm wires is to get a diagram for the vehicle, that way you will know what color the wire you are looking for will be. Then you need to test the wire to verify that it is what you are looking for because there can be multiple wires of the same color in the vehicle.

I agree with the above post, grab a diagram and look. Most diagrams will give you good refrence points for a general location of where it is on the vehicle.

In general though

Domelights: Kick Panel

Door Locks: Kick Panel

Ignition Wires: Along the steering colum

Parking Lights: Headlight switch

Tach Refrence: Ignition Coil under hood, Fuel injector, ECM under hood

Brake Lights: Switch above brake pedal

I will however say this, on alot of stuff today, espicially Dodge vehicles, it doesent matter if your find the correct wire or not, you have to match resistance on that wire for it to become useful.
