The only way you can do that is hook up a relay by itself. You can hook up a hidden toggle swtich that splits your starter while until it's turned on.

Normally Open (N.O.) relay circuit.

like teken said is correct but you may want some backup in case the relay or alarm controling it fails because you will be stranded!

Install a latched relay to your starter or ignition kill via channel 2 or 3 of your alarm. When you disarm your alarm your vehicle will not turnover or start untill you activate the latched relay (pressing channel 2or3 or your remote) Let;s say someone rips out the Alarm brain , if they find any kind of switch they might try to start your velicle but if you wire it up so even the latched relay is hidden they won't be able to start the vehicle (no switches to activate), I hope this helps.

Another neat trick is to use the brake switch to control the coil of a relay. Take the wire that has 12 volts when the brake is pressed and run it to pin 85 of a relay. Ground pin 86. Take your starter wire and cut it. Put the switch side on 87 and the starter side on 30. Hide the relay away and if someone rips your alarm out and steals everything in your car thats all they will get. Your car will be safe and sound. You must step on the brake in order to start your car. Most people dont step on the brake until they have it running and are ready to take it out of gear. Just another neat relay trick.
