Anyone have a diagram for an '04 Nav? I'm looking for costant 12V and a switched 12V for the radio for an XM install, and a clean 12V accessory wire to tap for a radar detector.
Why aren't you using the wires behind your radio? As long as you don't unplug the radio harness then you have nothing to worry about it. Just test with a DMM behind your radio for those wires. The radio provides enough power for these applications. But if you want to go the hard way.......
Constant - GREEN/ Violet
Ignition - Blue/Green
Acc - BLACK/ Green
Remember to test these wires with your DMM to make sure they are accurate. Good luck. Hopes this helps.

Don't let the smoke out of your equiptment..it doesn't go back in.
Pulling the dash apart wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done, and I scratched the cover for the shift lever doing it the first time. Also, with all the wires for the navigation system, radio, temp control, etc. in the same harness I figured if I knew which color wire to look for it'd be easier. I will give it a try. Thanks
i agree, the easiest place to get power source is through ignition harness. aslong as you fused them correctly.....

Hi,
Does anyone have the complete wiring diagram for all the wires going into the radio head unit of a 04 Navigator?? Where can I find this?? I'm hooking up a Sony Ericsson "advanced mute" module for the Sony Bluetooth module in my Navigator and need to know the color code for the Front Left and Right Speaker, Rear Left and Right Speaker, Mute (if any), and ignition positve (read it's RED / green... thank you).
Any help will be great!!
Ken
