Guys, I'm on a role for my new hobby Remote starters and car stuff. Well to make it quick, being a Newbie I have some questions to clear from my head so I can sleep @ night. Firstly I am doing a practice install on a 94 Buick century. Finding wires like Power,IGN,ACC,sTarter,TACH, were all easy but I came to problem, the KICK PANEL!!!! It is a nightmare. I can see the lock and unlock wires but having a hard time getting access to them since the emergency brake cable is in the way I removed the lug nut which grounds most wires in attempt to remove the emergency cable no luck. I removed the interior wooden trim the bottom dash cover right accross. Still am having trouble getting those wires I can see them but there taped up running high and can't seem to get @ them. Any adice would be great. Second problem is the parking light switch harness, I need a + brown in the switch harness. Can't get the switch out again through tiny spaces I can see the brown wire. Please help. Thanks guys! Again great web page :(
Oh guys one more thing.......after I get through this practice I am going to do a 1995 Lesabre.....By-passing VATS......can I use more than one resistor to total my reading of 1126ohm. If so should I space them out with wires or just solder them in a row. Also how do I arrange them highest to lowest. Lastly is it like batters positive negative when soldering them...do they have to be tolerence sides toching all the way down for example?
Seondly......Parking light switch.....or PLM....wiring diagrams say hook iup is brown+.....problem I have is that the lesabre parking light switch is @ the Driver side door @ the top.... It would be ackward for wire to be hooked up to the door that goes to the remote starter.......like a string of some sort. Could someone tell me the creative idea on how to pass this. problem...too when I get around to it.
Thanks Guys....
