I have a 94 Chevy 1500, and I have a gasoline engine. I want to add a 2nd battery for starting situations, and possibly a third (to dedicate to my audio system). I just want some input of how and what some of you have done inthe past.

Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

My thoughts would be to connect the batteries in parallel. However I don't know too much about cars and would say to check what the experts have to say. If you isolate the batteries, then they would run down sooner or later so I think all (two or three) will have to be connected in parallell, to get continously recharged by the alternator. Also a fuse for each battery wold be a good idea too. Just my humble opinion.
