Well, the fact that I will need a new alternator is inevitable, but the fact that I'm on a budget means that, well, I can't afford those high-end products from Stinger or Green (whatever it is)...  However, I saw on Ebay this seller named Motor City Reman.  He has about 1000 sales, and has 200 amp alternator kits for my truck, for 200 dollars..... has anybody here heard of MCR, or purchased from him?  what do you think?

Try a local auto store or rebuilder first. The last thing you need is an alternator to crap out and have to  mail it to someplace for warranty. I have a fleet of PD cars and use alternators from NAPA. High amp alternator from them is about 225.00 an has lifetime warranty. Ben using them for about 7 years and only had one go bad. Good luck
