alright, let me ask you guys something...

if i had a car battery, and for what ever reason, the positive and negative were touching ... like a direct wire..will it drain the battery? i wouldnt think so because its a loop..is this correct?

It will melt the wire in about 5 seconds and will probably explode if the sparks ignite the gases in the battery.
