I am looking to change the set up in my Rx7.... Right now i have two JL 10w3v2's, running on a JL 250/1.... its all trimmed out and flush mounted, But i am looking to change the set up. And was thinking about maybe using three 8's..... either the JL 8W7's, or the Kicker Solo Baric 8's.... Does any one know of any other 8's that i am forgetting about that are of high quality? Thanx for your time!

i couldn't help but notice that you are running a JL 250/1 on TWO 10" JL w3v2's? Aren't you doing your subs alittle diservice ? lol. Hey bro, but honestly, if you plan on getting rid of those, maybe you could give me a good deal on them?

I hope your not planning on reunning those eights off that amp because if you are you are not gonna have the power to run solo's or w7's off that amp. If you are upgrading the amp it would be benificial to know what you are upgrading to. If you are planning to upgrade the amp after you decide on the subs then let us know what kinda budget we are talking about so we can give you better, more informed suggestons.

Ya, the 250/1 was a last minute good deal. At the audio shop i use to work at, we got it in hardly used, and i went ahead and put it in. What i think i am going to do is just go ahead and keep the 10's and use a 500/1 instead. And i am going to take the subs and point them firing back, and at an angle, versus firing straight up as they are now. They way i plan on doing it will loosen up some trunk space.

Thanx for the input!

I used two Boston Pro 8.5's with great success. Check them out too.
