what can i use to fish a wire through the door jamb of a car without a tool. I think this is kind of a dumb question but i need to know soon if someone has done something before they had to do that worked. i dont think a hanger will work on this door and i dought i would want to use one also on doors that have plastic caps on each end one door side and  one car side do they come off to make easier??????????

Go down to your local sports store and ask the guys in the back who do wrenching for about 3 feet of brake cable housing it's durable, has a plastic sheeth over it so you can't scrape anything and is also flexible and rigid enough to get into small crammed areas. Just tape the wire to one end and guide the other end through the spot where you want to run the wire through.

This car has a plastic cap looking like a harness that disconects only on the car side but on the door side it is the normal removable rubber boot.

     I found some three foot long zips ties on a onstruction site which work well for cable routing. Just tape the wire that you are trying to fish to the zip tie and cut off the square lock on the end.

Hey Mobiletoys2002;

The plug is solid and you can not wire anything through it unless you take out the plug on both ends and drill in a hole for the new wires.
