I came across this today in my surfing and thought that I would post this for all to see and let member's know what's out there on eBay. Watch out for this type of advertising as there are 1000's of these auctions going daily:

That, or the 'wholesaler lists', or the performance mods that are basically a $25 resistor and piece of paper telling you to plug it into your IAT sensor. Those aren't nearly as slick as the way those e-books are marketed as though you're paying for a piece of electronic gear. What I wouldn't give to watch those guys alone in a room with a bunch of their victims and some torturing devices.

Yup, those "wholesaler lists" is another one of those items that is just links that you can get from a search on Google or Dogpile. I like that resistor too posted_image. I just thought of another one that people are getting suckered into is for Alpine video monitors. Some eBayer's are selling two toggle switches with the same instructions to wire into the brake and the foot brake and selling this as a bypass kit and they were charging $ 75 for it.

Here's a better one.. ANY Alpine products sold on Ebay or the internet are sold as is NO Warranty.. Alpine does not authorize these sales and WILL Not do anything about it if it breaks...

As a "Specialty Retailer" I agree 110% with this .. So buyer beware, if you buy a product on line.. Make sure they are authorized to do it..

Most of the time they tell you that it's THEIR OWN WARRANTY on such items like Alpine. Still, not good enough for me to lay down $ 1200 for a new IVA-D900 even if it is that cheap !!
