i want to move my a/c controls elsewhere in the car to make room for a screen but there is some kind of metal wire in a sleeve that 2 of the knobs pull instead of being puely electronic is there any way to extend those mechanical wires i can handle the electrical wires. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

yes. its the same kind of wire that would open a manual trunk or gas door. Im doing the same thing on an eclipse. If your near a junk yard you could pull one out and cut it to the desired length.

ya... i have done the bicycle cable thing.... works good.... it's just all the other hardware that is important.... best bet is to get a friend who rides and have them bring their toolbox.... (little clamps and stuff) you gotta rig it a bit.
